Craft-In at The Craft Factory:
It’s Fundraiser Time!

As part of our initiative to work closer with our local schools and other community-focused organizations, The Craft Factory has developed a fundraising opportunity. Read on to find out more:craftin-logo-600

How does it work?

Each month, The Craft Factory will feature a local school or non-profit organization as our Craft-In Fundraising Partner of the Month. The organization helps to advertise the event to their community and all of their various community partners. People then come to The Craft Factory during our regular weekly drop-in hours and make at least one craft. For every $12 craft someone makes in support of that organization, The Craft Factory will donate $2. What could be more fun? People get to craft and raise money for a worthy cause. Win-win!

How to participate:

Give us a call [(503) 577-4310] or send us an email [craftfactorypdx@gmail.com]! We’re looking for new organizations to partner with. Once we’ve decided on the month of our Craft-In with you, we will send you:

- A PDF black & white flyer for you to print and put on the doors of the school, community center, organization, and wherever else you think would be good for it to go
- A full-color social media image for you to use on Facebook, Twitter, in a newsletter, in an email, or any other digital space where you can advertise this event
- The Craft-In logo in color and black & white, as well as The Craft Factory logo, in case you would like to create your own marketing materials
- A PDF of a half-page color flyer that can be printed out for people to take

Then we both promote! Your organization will be advertised in two newsletters over the course of the month (which has over 1800 readers), on our Facebook page throughout the month, on our Twitter account throughout the month, and on our website. We ask that you use the materials we sent you to promote via your own networks, and then we share each others’ promotions.

Remember: The more this is promoted, the more people will craft in support of your organization, which will raise the donation amount you receive!
